Job Description
This remote position is open to candidates anywhere in the United States. Enlyte is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Security Architect to join our cybersecurity team. In this role, you will design and implement enterprise-wide security architectures that secure our infrastructure, applications, and data. You will drive security initiatives across cloud and on-premises environments, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design and evolution of Enlyte's enterprise security architecture.
- Develop and maintain security policies and reference architectures for cloud and on-premises.
- Design secure AWS and public cloud environments with CSPM, network segmentation, and IAM.
- Provide internal security consulting for product applications and IT services.
- Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and gap analysis.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and technical teams on security integration.
- Evaluate emerging security technologies and recommend adoption.
- Implement secure cloud infrastructure focused on configuration and threat protection.
- Mentor junior team members on security best practices.
- Partner with GRC, SOC, and DevSecOps teams to enforce security controls.
Qualifications
Applicants should have 8+ years in cybersecurity roles with at least 5 years as a security architect, substantial experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), network security, IAM, data protection, and encryption. Expertise in zero trust architectures, security tools (Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, SIEM, etc.), and frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, and MITRE ATT&CK is required. A bachelor's degree in a related field is desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in regulated environments, knowledge of containerization, microservices, API security, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD security, and relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, or TOGAF.
