Your Mission as an Administrative Assistant
You will play an important role in a dynamic and passionate team, collaborating on a variety of projects of all sizes and scopes in the environment, renewable energies, hydroelectricity, transportation, materials, buildings and climate change markets. Boldness, innovation and collaboration are an integral part of our daily operations. This is a full-time Monday to Friday role, with occasional Saturday mornings required, and offers a hybrid work arrangement.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Data entry of field test reports into our custom database;
- Filing of field test reports;
- Backup assistance for dispatch team;
- Answer and direct phone calls and inquiries;
- Direct and problem solve inquiries from staff;
- Building support – maintenance, kitchen clean up/organization;
- Report and template preparation in MS Word;
- Tracking documents and pulling reference materials;
- Additional tasks as required on an as-needed basis;
- Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules.
What Makes You Unique
To succeed as an Administrative Assistant, you should bring:
- Diploma in Office Administration is considered an asset;
- 1-2 years experience working in a similar capacity in a Consulting, Engineering or Science firm would be an asset;
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
- Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Program features specifically, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy is required;
- Positive demeanor with interest in supporting individuals and teams;
- String problem solving skills;
- Excellent organizational capabilities with the ability to implement and maintain systems of organization.
