About the Role

The EnglishYaari Counsellor guides learners from their first interaction to successfully achieving their communication goals. In this people-first role, you will listen, empathize, and recommend solutions that directly impact learner success and company growth.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Engage with leads via calls, chats, and emails.
  • Understand learners’ goals and challenges to recommend suitable plans.
  • Convert trial users into paid learners through consultative interactions.
  • Guide learners during onboarding and explain the platform usage.
  • Maintain continuous engagement and support to boost retention.
  • Address learner queries, concerns, and feedback with empathy.
  • Collaborate with Tutors, Product, and Marketing teams to enhance the learner experience.
  • Achieve weekly and monthly conversion and retention targets.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide performance reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • 0–3 years of experience in Counselling, Sales, Customer Support, or EdTech.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to build trust, empathize, and handle objections.
  • Goal-oriented with capability to achieve targets under deadlines.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, Excel/Google Sheets, and digital communication platforms.
  • Passion for education and learner success.
