About the role
SAP BTP Architect
Engineering Group is seeking an innovative SAP BTP Architect to join their Eng Digital division, Eng Platform business line. This role involves designing and implementing advanced architectures and solutions using BTP cloud extensions and Fiori/CAP applications, integrating both SAP and non-SAP systems.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for analyzing client requirements, defining architecture, and creating technical response documents. This includes supporting prototyping, Proofs of Concept (PoCs), and research and innovation initiatives, all while demonstrating technical vision and team management skills.
Specific Duties Include:
- Analyzing requirements and designing architectural solutions within SAP BTP innovation.
- Supervising and contributing to extension development.
- Enabling innovative solutions using SAP AI Core, Document AI, SAP Build (Work Zone, Process Automation), Joule skills, and Joule Agents.
- Designing and developing Fiori/UI5 and CAP applications.
- Integrating with SAP and non-SAP systems via APIs, OData, and Events.
- Providing technical support for pre-sales, prototyping, and PoCs.
- Mentoring junior team members and collaborating across internal teams.
- Working with Nearshore resources.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in "AI Foundation" services (SAP AI Core, SAP AI Launchpad, Document AI).
- Experience with generative AI using Joule for intelligent scenarios.
- Experience with SAP Build tools (Build Apps, Work Zone, Process Automation) for accelerated delivery.
- Knowledge of the English language.
- Strong orientation towards innovation and technological curiosity.
- Analytical, synthesis, and process modeling capabilities.
- Solution design aptitude.
- Excellent communication skills with business and IT stakeholders.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and workshops.
- Autonomy in managing tasks.
