Your Role as a Know Your Customer Analyst
We are seeking a Know Your Customer Analyst in Cologne who will ensure that all counterparties and activities align with regulatory requirements and ENGIE SEM's internal standards. This pivotal role safeguards our operations and supports sustainable business growth.
Your Responsibilities
- Perform KYC/AML and Ethics checks for onboarding and periodic reviews of counterparties.
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and internal compliance policies.
- Advise business teams on compliance aspects related to new products, deals, and activities.
- Collaborate with Legal to integrate compliance-related clauses into contracts.
- Provide timely risk alerts, monitoring insights, and clear recommendations to management.
Your Profile
- Master’s degree in Finance, Law, Compliance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of KYC/AML experience, ideally within trading or corporate/investment banking.
- Strong advantage: Knowledge of commodity markets and associated transaction risks.
- Possess strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Fluent in English; German is recommended; additional languages are a plus.
