Role Overview
As a Project Manager - Data Centre, you will thrive in a collaborative team environment, ensuring client objectives are met and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality, sustainability, and safety standards. We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills, eager to make a significant contribution to our Project Management division.
Key Attributes and Duties
You will possess pre-contract and post-contract delivery experience, demonstrating strong management and interpersonal skills, alongside a core technical skillset and a solid understanding of construction, commercial, and contractual awareness. Your expertise will enable you to navigate the complexities of large-scale building projects effectively.
With strong interpersonal skills and exceptional relationship management experience, you will adeptly liaise with a diverse range of clients, sub-contractors, and key stakeholders. You are immaculately presented and knowledgeable in the end-to-end project delivery lifecycle, including design, procurement, permitting, construction, and handover processes.
Your success in delivering building projects will involve:
- Supporting the management of governance, communication, and control systems for client services and works.
- Reviewing organizational structures and recommending alignment measures.
- Monitoring performance and initiating safety or performance improvement measures.
- Monitoring and auditing compliance with management systems and reporting as required.
- Continually identifying project risks, actively assigning and managing mitigations.
- Participating in weekly technical and progress meetings.
- Participating in client stage gateway reviews and conditions precedent attainment.
- Supporting the attainment of design stage deliverables to schedule and quality.
- Attending site(s) as required to review HSSE, logistics, and progress.
- Supporting the preparation of formal reports on project progress against baselines and KPIs.
- Supporting the preparation of weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc progress reports and presentations.
- Supporting the management and administration of relevant contracts, protecting client interests.
- Supporting the preparation and timely issuance of company invoices and receipts.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Data Centre Experience
- Degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or equivalent technical qualification
- Buildings sector experience
- Minimum 4 years Project Management experience
Desirable:
- Recognized Project Management Qualification
- Membership or chartership of a recognized professional industry body (e.g., RICS)
