Cyber Security Operations Analyst

As a Cyber Security Operations Analyst at Encora, your primary responsibility is to protect the day-to-day operations by monitoring cybersecurity risks and threats. You will ensure the correct protective, detective, and monitoring controls are in place and play a key role in cyber incident response activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to alerts and escalations from SOC MSSP and internal systems.
• Investigate, triage, and resolve security incidents promptly.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including knowledgebase articles and playbooks.
• Support the Cyber Security Operations Manager with reporting and analysis.
• Monitor security controls and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Recommend improvements based on threat trends and business needs.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity threat landscape and impacts.
• Participate in incident response and post-incident reviews.
• Assist in enhancing cybersecurity policies and standards.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential: Undergraduate degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience; strong understanding of security operations, threat detection, and incident response; familiarity with IT system and network architecture.

Preferred: Experience in a SOC environment; hands-on incident investigation and response; understanding of IT service and change management; working knowledge of SIEM platforms and cybersecurity tools.
