Diverse Responsibilities

As a Solution Architect Cloud & Infrastructure, you will play a key role in large, complex projects by applying your technical expertise to design and develop modern, scalable cloud and infrastructure architectures.

  • Design and develop cloud and on-premise infrastructures
  • Consult on modern digital technologies across business areas
  • Work with state-of-the-art tools including Azure, AWS, and VMWare
  • Enhance the TIP-Portfolio and evaluate existing architectures

Your Profile

You should have a degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience as a solution architect with a focus on infrastructure. Familiarity with software and system architecture, API First, and Security by Design is essential.

Experience with the following technologies is required:

  • Software Defined Data Center (SDDC)
  • VMWare (vSphere, vSAN, NSX)
  • Azure Cloud Services (including IaC with ARM)
  • AWS Cloud Services (including IaC with Cloudformation)
  • Kubernetes
  • Microsoft Identity Management and Keycloak
  • Databases such as Oracle, MS-SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL

You are curious, willing to learn, and ready to take responsibility to innovate and work together in a team.

About the Business & Technical Solutions Team

You will join EnBW's IT platform team in Karlsruhe that supplies a secure, stable, and efficient IT environment for the entire EnBW Group, focusing on automation, compliance, and sustainable digital solutions.
