Overview

Enbridge is seeking a highly motivated Engineer TIS PI Data Historian System to join our Business Application Operations Services Organization. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Enbridge PI Data Historian and its software suite in support of Control Center teams and related business areas.

What You Will Do

You will play a key role in the maintenance of PI Data Historian production and development application environments by providing technical support, troubleshooting, problem diagnosis, application testing and configuration changes. You will:

  • Work closely with SCADA Operations and Integration teams to synchronize source system changes.
  • Support interfaces connecting to the PI Data Archive, PI AF, and PI Vision servers.
  • Maintain the High Availability architecture of the PI environment.
  • Develop PI AF calculations and event frames as well as configure templates and solution hierarchies.
  • Resolve connection, performance, and data flow issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet application support and service requests.
  • Document processes as per Enbridge standards and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.

Who You Are

Applicants should have an undergraduate degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of work experience. You must have hands-on experience with the AVEVA PI Data Archive, AF, and PI Vision servers, and a working knowledge of MS Windows server, MS SQL, IIS, PowerShell, SQL, and Visual Basic programming. Familiarity with SCADA systems (e.g., OASyS, Cygnet) and process control systems is essential.
