The Role: Publishing Research Coordinator

This role is based in EMPIRE's downtown San Francisco office and will report to the VP, Operations - Publishing. It involves diverse responsibilities within the publishing department, such as works registration, client management, metadata management, and research.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and capture song information from various rights organizations and platforms.
• Manage the EMPIRE content management system for accurate data entry.
• Migrate and standardize research results and client-submitted data.
• Assist client managers with catalog research and cleanup projects.
• Report findings and provide recommendations to the copyright team.

Key Notes for Success

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with prior administrative experience.
• Strong knowledge of online research in the music industry.
• Experience with music metadata, intellectual property, and copyright.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication.
• Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Excel and location: San Francisco Bay Area.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $19.18 - $32.00/hour plus benefits, discretionary bonus, and profit sharing program. Additional elements may apply based on market location, skills, and experience.
