The Opportunity: DevOps Software Engineer Intern
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven DevOps Software Engineer Intern to join our team in India. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the infrastructure and operations that support critical clinical research, learning practical skills in a fast-paced and impactful environment. As a DevOps Software Engineer Intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers to streamline development processes, automate infrastructure, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery.
- Contribute to infrastructure-as-code initiatives using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Support the monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance of applications.
- Help manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) components and services.
- Write scripts (Python, Bash) to automate routine operational tasks.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices for secure and scalable applications.
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure and application issues.
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
- Basic understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and command-line tools.
- Familiarity with at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, Bash).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen desire to learn new technologies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
