Overview
The Emerson Semiconductor & Electronics BU (SEBU) Systems R&D unit of Emerson Test & Measurement Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer C# Desktop Application Development. In this role, you will work on system-level hardware and software components for systems like the Semiconductor Test System (STS) and develop system reference architectures for applications such as RF Front End Characterization, Data Converter Validation, and more.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for owning system/features from definition through release, collaborating with global R&D teams, and providing technical leadership. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead system/features from definition through release.
- Design and develop reusable IP/features for future opportunities.
- Conduct code reviews and recommend architecture improvements.
- Resolve critical issues and address customer concerns.
- Mentor junior engineers and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement.

You are action-oriented, quick-thinking, and skilled at handling risks in evolving situations. You seek mentorship and make well-informed decisions.
Required Qualifications
- B.E/ B.Tech/ M.Tech in Electronics, Communications, Telecommunications, Electrical, or Instrumentation.
- 5+ years of industry experience.
- Expert in design, development and debugging in C# with strong OOP fundamentals.
- Knowledge of data structures, software architectures, design principles and patterns.
- Familiarity with Agile practices and continuous integration pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with NI hardware, RF drivers, STS, LabVIEW, TestStand, RFmx, or RFIC Test Software is a plus.
