Safety Instrumented Systems Senior Project Engineer

About the Role

The Safety Instrumented Systems Senior Project Engineer at Emerson is responsible for executing projects in industries such as Oil & Gas, Chemical, Metals & Mining, and Pharmaceutical. You will deliver Safety Instrumented Systems including Emergency Shutdown (ESD), Fire and Gas (FGS), or Burner Management Systems (BMS) with DeltaV SIS.

Responsibilities

• Lead DeltaV SIS software and hardware design tasks.
• Execute concept and detailed design tasks for software and hardware.
• Manage software implementation, internal, and factory acceptance tests.
• Support Project SIS & DCS teams in delivering engineering deliverables.
• Adhere to quality control processes and industry standards.
• Share technical knowledge and assist in small projects where needed.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years experience in automation project execution in relevant industries.
• Competence in MS Office and software programming skills.
• Proficient in English; additional European language is a plus.

Travel Requirements

Willingness to travel, mainly within Europe, for up to 50% of the time.
