About the Role
The Safety Instrumented Systems Senior Project Engineer at Emerson is responsible for executing projects in industries such as Oil & Gas, Chemical, Metals & Mining, and Pharmaceutical. You will deliver Safety Instrumented Systems including Emergency Shutdown (ESD), Fire and Gas (FGS), or Burner Management Systems (BMS) with DeltaV SIS.
Responsibilities
- Lead DeltaV SIS software and hardware design tasks.
- Execute concept and detailed design tasks for software and hardware.
- Manage software implementation, internal, and factory acceptance tests.
- Support Project SIS & DCS teams in delivering engineering deliverables.
- Adhere to quality control processes and industry standards.
- Share technical knowledge and assist in small projects where needed.
Who You Are
You are proactive, adaptable, and skilled at building strong relationships with key accounts. Your initiative and strategic approach help drive team success and project efficiency.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years experience in automation project execution in relevant industries.
- Competence in MS Office and software programming skills.
- Proficient in English; additional European language is a plus.
Travel Requirements
Willingness to travel, mainly within Europe, for up to 50% of the time.
