About the Cybersecurity Manager Role

Are you a cybersecurity professional ready to lead strategic legal initiatives in product security? In this role, you will develop, implement, lead, and supervise Emerson’s legal product security compliance program with respect to cybersecurity and related technology laws as advised by the Associate General Counsel, Regulatory Compliance.

Responsibilities

As part of the Legal Product Security and Regulatory Compliance team, you will:

  • Develop and oversee the cybersecurity compliance program following standards like NIST, ISO, and IEC.
  • Lead global initiatives and projects with the Information Governance group.
  • Provide mentorship, training, and maintain policies in line with SDL processes.
  • Manage tactical and strategic planning for compliance operations.
  • Collaborate with engineering, IT, pre-sales, and external partners on security requirements.

Who You Are

You are a strategic problem solver with strong communication skills and a clear understanding of governance, risk, and compliance. You continuously seek new technical skills and are able to quickly adapt to new technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of relevant cybersecurity experience, preferably in compliance.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar field.
  • Experience in secure development and control frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

Desirable certifications include CISM, CISSP, CISA, CRISC, and PMP.
