Role Overview: Customer Care Administration Specialist

As a Customer Care Administration Specialist at Emerson, you will join a collaborative, impactful, and dynamic Sales Order Management and Customer Care team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the precise execution of customer orders for assigned regions, adhering to contractual obligations and internal company compliance requirements, from the initial factory purchase order through delivery and final billing to customers. This role is based in Mandaluyong City, Philippines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with internal and external suppliers to expedite shipments, providing customers with regular updates on open order shipping schedules.
  • Conduct International Trade Compliance screening before shipment, collaborate with the compliance team for hold releases, and prepare shipping invoices for processing.
  • Prepare proforma invoices for advance payment collection, coordinate with the finance department for credit hold releases, and ensure the accuracy of all shipping documentation.
  • Work closely with the Document Control Team to ensure all required documents are submitted and approved according to contract specifications.
  • Coordinate with customers and factories to schedule third-party inspections as necessary.
  • Review and validate order entry data from the upstream team to ensure accuracy and completeness before executing billing processes, ensuring billing aligns with customer contracts or purchase orders.

A proactive self-starter with a strong commitment to their work, you should also be proficient in communicating ideas, collaborating effectively, and working efficiently with individuals at all organizational levels.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in Customer Service, Sales, Order Administration, or Purchase Order (PO) processing.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a customer service-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of SAP/Oracle systems or project management methodologies is a significant advantage.
