About the Mechanical Design Engineer (12 months) Role

Responsibilities

  • Develop conceptual designs for pressure regulators.
  • Provide technical product design support to Engineering, Operations, Suppliers, Customers and Sales.
  • Assist application engineering in material selection and temperature/pressure evaluations.
  • Evaluate special order detail requests with customer service and sales support.
  • Complete design and implementation of new products, special orders, and product improvements.
  • Evaluate applicable standards and complete vital applications for certification.
  • Perform design calculations, basic finite element and CFD analyses.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 1-2 years engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office or equivalent efficiency suites.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • High mechanical proficiency.
  • Experience in creating 3D models and 2D CAD drawings is preferred.
  • Ability to read drawings and communicate drawing changes.
