About the Role
The Arquiteto de Dados Digital Transformation at Embraer works closely with business areas to redesign processes within the Data & AI Office. The role focuses on implementing new models and transforming the delivery of value to clients by integrating technology, data, and innovation.
Responsibilities
Design and evolve data architectures ensuring scalable solutions aligned with corporate guidelines. Define data standards, contracts and accelerators, including AI initiatives. Conduct technical reviews and project validations to ensure compliance with reference architectures. Mentor technical teams, promote best practices, and support Spokes to ensure interoperability between domains and systems. Collaborate on strategic roadmaps including modernization and technology adoption. Document governance processes including quality, cataloging, and data security. Interact with technical, business, and consulting teams to ensure integration and alignment. Support Observability and FinOps processes to enhance operational efficiency and cost control. Assist engineers, data scientists, and data analysts in multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications
Must have a completed higher education and fluent/advanced English skills for reading, writing, and conversation. Experience in Data Architecture, Hub & Spoke model, Data Lakes, DWH, Lakehouse, batch and streaming pipeline development, and cloud environments (GCP/AWS/Azure). Proven track record in validating data architectures and projects to ensure scalability and strategic alignment. Knowledge in Data Mesh, data products, domain modeling, events, data governance (DAMA-DMBOK), and reference architectures. Familiarity with data quality, cataloging, and security practices.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge in DataOps and CI/CD for data, experience with federated governance, and modernization of architecture.
Work Arrangement & Location
This is a hybrid role with 3 days on-site and 2 days remote in São José dos Campos, SP. Note: From January 1, 2026, the role will become primarily on-site with up to 2 remote days allowed per week based on business needs.
