Job Overview

Employment Type: Full-time Shift: Day Shift, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM (Queensland Time) Days Off: Weekends Off Work Setup: Onsite - Megatower, Ortigas. Possible transition to hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH) once performance and team readiness are met.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in a deadline-driven newspaper production environment (local or international)
  • Strong English communication skills with excellent grammar
  • Proven coordination and administrative expertise
  • Proficiency in GSuite and Salesforce
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Deep understanding of print or media industries
  • Experience managing Gmail mailboxes, including tagging
  • Proven experience collaborating with Australian teams
  • Strong knowledge of the Australian media landscape
  • Lean Six Sigma certification

  • Written Communication: Produce clear, concise, and professional emails, reports, and documentation

Note: Occasional overtime or shift adjustments may be required based on business needs (e.g., breaking news or team coverage).

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure plan adherence by supporting schedule requirements and maintaining a consistent production rhythm for reliable output
  • Provide administrative support, including managing schedule changes, generating reports, and maintaining tracking sheets
  • Manage high-impact calendar requests for print reservations
  • Support planning by collating and organizing special event information
  • Plan and communicate deadline adjustments for public holidays and special events, ensuring stakeholder alignment and on-time delivery
  • Develop understanding of end-to-end print fulfilment processes to support broader operations
  • Manage shared mailboxes, responding to and escalating print-related communications as needed
  • Uphold publishing guidelines and ensure quality standards across all outputs

Success in This Role

  • First 30 Days: Build foundational knowledge of print delivery systems, workflows, and scheduling processes while collaborating with Manila and Australian teams
  • First 90 Days: Gain working knowledge of end-to-end print fulfilment, co-manage high-impact calendar and mailboxes, and understand reporting requirements
  • First Year: Identify opportunities for operational improvement and expand capabilities to deepen expertise in print fulfilment processes
