Responsibilities of a People & Culture Manager
- Deliver full recruitment services for multiple areas, including front end needs analysis, job postings, sourcing, interviews, and employment offers.
- Act as a business partner to your client group, managing all aspects of the employee life cycle, with the EllisDon values and Employee Experience at top of mind.
- Support the implementation and management (including launches) of all P&C programs, activities, and annual processes such as Performance Management, Compensation Reviews, Training and Development and Organizational Development, Onboarding, Employee Orientations and Succession Planning.
- Resolve complex employee relations issues while adhering to the appropriate employment legislation.
- Compile relative P&C metrics, analyzing, reporting and identifying trends to strategically support business needs.
Qualifications for this Role
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience including hands-on recruitment responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Post Graduate Certificate in HR Management or related field.
- Clear understanding of the HR environment in Texas.
- Experience in the construction industry is preferred.
- Energized by the opportunity of a start-up environment within a large company.
- Passion for the Employee Experience and resonance with the EllisDon Values.
- Proficiency in Spanish is an asset.
