Elevate Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Vocational Instructor to join a customer's team as an AI Trainer. This remote, hourly contract role involves leveraging your middle school career/technical education expertise to enhance AI models for educational technology. You will translate your instructional knowledge into structured training data, helping AI systems understand effective teaching strategies, curriculum design, and classroom management for diverse learners.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Career/Technical Education Teacher specializing in middle school to join our customer’s team as an AI Trainer. In this unique remote role, you will leverage your classroom experience to support the development and refinement of AI models for educational technology. By translating your instructional expertise into structured training data, you will help AI systems understand effective teaching strategies, curriculum design, and classroom management practices for diverse learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and generate instructional content to train AI models on middle school career/technical education subjects
- Analyze and adapt curriculum resources to create datasets reflecting varied learning needs and classroom scenarios
- Provide clear, detailed written and verbal feedback on lesson objectives, instructional strategies, and student behavior management
- Develop structured lesson plans, classroom procedures, and behavioral guidelines for AI understanding
- Collaborate remotely with project teams to align content with educational goals and quality standards
- Prepare and organize simulated classroom scenarios to enhance AI model accuracy and applicability
- Participate in iterative data annotation, discussion, and documentation to refine AI learning outcomes
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience teaching Career/Technical Education at the middle school level or equivalent educational setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with precision and clarity in documentation
- Analytical mindset with the ability to adapt instructional materials and strategies for diverse learners
- Familiarity with lesson planning, classroom behavior management, and organizational strategies
- Comfort and proficiency working independently in a remote, digital-first environment
- Highly detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines
- Passion for educational innovation and improving learning experiences through technology
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience contributing to AI model training, data annotation, or EdTech projects
- Background in developing or reviewing educational content for digital platforms
- Advanced degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field
