Safety Officer
Engagement: Hourly contract (independent contractor)Rate: USD 80-150/hour
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to contribute domain expertise to advanced AI training initiatives. In this fully remote role, you will provide real-world safety knowledge to help develop and refine intelligent systems focused on workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert on occupational health and safety for AI training projects
- Review, analyze, and provide detailed feedback on safety procedures, documentation, and compliance materials
- Curate and validate training content to ensure alignment with current regulatory standards and industry best practices
- Collaborate with AI developers, trainers, and project managers to improve training data quality
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and edge cases in safety scenarios and recommend improvements
- Translate complex safety regulations and real-world incidents into structured, actionable AI training inputs
- Stay current on emerging trends, regulatory updates, and evolving safety standards
