Humor Analyst and Content Rater at Elevate Recruitment
One of our AI research clients is seeking a Humor Analyst and Content Rater to evaluate short-form humorous content popular among North American teens. This remote role supports AI training initiatives by assessing humor quality, cultural relevance, and clarity in teen-focused digital content.
Key Responsibilities
- Review short-form humorous content including memes, short videos, posts, and scripts.
- Evaluate humor based on structured criteria such as relatability, originality, clarity, and cultural relevance.
- Clearly explain why specific content is funny, awkward, outdated, or unclear.
- Reference North American slang, trends, and social norms when analyzing humor.
- Identify recurring humor formats, meme styles, and cultural signals common within teen communities.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong familiarity with North American teen internet culture and digital trends.
- Comfortable analyzing and articulating humor styles and cultural nuances.
- Strong written communication skills with clear, logical explanations.
- Detail-oriented and consistent in applying rating criteria.
- Able to commit to a structured weekly schedule with required PST overlap.
Engagement Details
- Hourly contract (independent contractor)
- Fully remote
- 30 hours per week with 4-hour PST overlap
- 1-month duration
- Compensation up to $20 per hour
