Graphic Designer - AI Trainer
Join our customer’s team as a Graphic Designer - AI Trainer and bridge the worlds of creative design and artificial intelligence. In this remote role, your expertise in visual communication will help train and refine AI systems, ensuring they understand and produce high-quality, real-world graphic design outputs. Collaborate with a team committed to innovation, creativity, and next-generation AI-powered design tools.
The engagement for this position is an hourly contract, operating as an independent contractor, with a rate ranging from USD 20-65/hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, annotate, and curate high-quality graphic design datasets to train AI models.
- Collaborate with AI engineers and product teams to provide expert feedback on AI-generated visuals.
- Document design processes, style guides, and best practices for AI training purposes.
- Translate complex design concepts into actionable training materials for machine learning applications.
- Evaluate and test AI outputs, offering insights for continual refinement and improvement.
- Stay current with graphic design industry trends and integrate emerging practices into AI workflows.
- Communicate detailed feedback effectively to cross-functional teams in both written and verbal formats.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
- Proven experience in digital design across multiple platforms and formats.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to break down and articulate design principles and creative processes.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
- Comfortable working remotely, both independently and collaboratively.
- Analytical mindset to assess and enhance design-focused AI systems.

- Experience collaborating with AI or machine learning teams.
- Background in data annotation, content moderation, or training AI-based products.
