About the Role: Founder Research Consultant
Elevate Recruitment is seeking a Founder Research Consultant on behalf of a leading global AI player. This short-term, private engagement invites Founders and Early Operators to document and review data systems they’ve built or managed in mid-size startups (20–150 people).
The Mission
Your expertise will be crucial in analyzing the architecture behind various data systems, including:
- Core BI Layers: Dashboards, metrics, cohorts, and funnels.
- Operational Reporting: Over 30 key queries spanning Product, Operations, and Finance.
- Stakeholder Logic: The intricate flow of data from schema to critical decision-making processes.
Who This Is For
We are specifically looking for individuals with:
- Experienced Founders: Proven track record of building or managing non-trivial internal systems within high-growth environments.
- Startup Veterans: Mandatory prior experience in a high-growth startup setting (20–150 people).
- Domain Agnostic: We prioritize architectural complexity and system design prowess over specific industry experience.
- Availability: Ability to commit to a clearly scoped, short-term research engagement.
NOTICE: We will only be hiring CEOs, Founders, and Ex-Founders for this unique opportunity.
Engagement Details
This role involves a retrospective documentation and technical review of previously built systems. It is a private research effort, and full technical specifications along with compensation details will be shared after an initial screening.

Contract and Payment Terms
This position operates as an independent contractor, offering a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule. Project durations are flexible and can be extended, shortened, or concluded early based on evolving needs and performance. Your work will not require access to confidential or proprietary information from any current or past employer, client, or institution. Payments are processed weekly via Stripe or Wise, based on services rendered.
