Job Summary: Fashion Designer

Elevate Recruitment is seeking an innovative Fashion Designer to contribute creative and technical expertise to advanced AI training initiatives within the fashion industry. In this remote role, you will combine design vision with digital proficiency to help develop and refine AI systems that support apparel and accessory design, production workflows, and fashion technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Create rough and detailed sketches of apparel and accessories, specifying color palettes, materials, trims, and construction techniques.
• Modify and refine sample garments to improve fit, structure, and aesthetic outcomes.
• Develop detailed technical specifications and production documentation to support AI training datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate creative direction into structured, AI-compatible design inputs.
• Select fabrics, materials, and production methods aligned with design intent and industry standards.
• Evaluate AI-generated fashion concepts and provide structured feedback to improve model performance.
• Contribute real-world fashion workflows and case scenarios to enhance training data quality.
• Present and communicate design concepts clearly in remote collaborative settings.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Fashion Designer in apparel, accessories, or related product categories.
• Proficiency with Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) tools and Autodesk Revit.
• Experience with StartingAClothingLine.com Digital Fashion Pro and Trimble SketchUp Pro.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop) and CorelDRAW Graphics Suite.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Deep understanding of garment construction, materials, and production processes.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to design accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience contributing to AI training, digital fashion tools, or fashion technology initiatives.
• Portfolio demonstrating both creative vision and technical precision.
• Experience presenting collections in professional settings, including sales meetings or fashion events.
• Familiarity with emerging trends in digital fashion, 3D modeling, or virtual garment prototyping.
