Overview
The Behavioral Health Case Manager I at Elevance Health performs case management telephonically or through home visits, managing behavioral health and substance abuse needs. This virtual role, based in Washington, offers flexibility with required in-person training sessions.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Utilizes clinical judgment and screening criteria to assess member needs.
- Conducts assessments and develops individualized care plans.
- Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of care plans.
- Facilitates member access to quality, cost effective care.
- Coordinates with internal and external resources and providers.
Minimum Requirements
Requires a MA/MS in social work, counseling, related behavioral health field or nursing degree plus minimum 3 years clinical experience in social work or counseling with exposure to complex psychiatric and substance abuse treatment. Must hold an active, unrestricted license (RN, LCSW, LMHC, LICSW, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, or Clinical Psychologist) valid in Washington state.
Preferred Skills and Capabilities
- Experience in case management and telephonic/in-person coaching.
- Ability to handle high call volume effectively.
Work Schedule & Compensation
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm PST. Salary range for this position is $72,036 to $108,054.
