About the Role
The Senior Project Manager ensures the successful planning, execution, and completion of projects aligned with Element's strategic goals. This role involves defining project objectives, managing resources, and maintaining quality control through the project lifecycle. You will facilitate stakeholder communication, mitigate risks, and manage change to deliver projects on time, on budget, and in scope.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage daily activities of project teams.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Create detailed project schedules and implementation plans.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to develop cost estimates.
- Establish project governance and clear stakeholder communication.
- Oversee resource onboarding and role clarity.
- Monitor and report on project budgets and progress.
- Manage risks and enforce change control processes.
- Contribute to the PM Centre of Excellence by sharing best practices.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field with 10+ years of project management experience in the IT sector. Experience in leading Data Migration, Data Transformation, ERP Implementation, or Digital Transformation projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional certifications (PMP, CSM), advanced proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Excel, and strong influencing skills.
Location & Salary
Current Location: Mississauga (with planned move to Toronto in September 2026). Salary range for local candidates is $99,200 - $136,400 annually, based on experience and alignment with market data.
