What You’ll Do as Technical Author

As a Technical Author within the Research and Engineering function, you will create high-end technical publications and documentation for Elekta’s Treatment Planning product range. Working within the Global Information Development team, you will collaborate with multiple stakeholders, subject matter experts, and third party suppliers to produce clear, concise, and industry-standard content.

• Write technical product documentation per project requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers and SMEs to gather information.
• Interpret engineering drawings and technical data.
• Manage content development and coordinate project activities.
• Support translation and editorial tasks as needed.

Core Competencies

• Excellent English communication skills
• Strong technical editing and quality control
• Experience with XML-based authoring tools and DITA XML
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Adobe FrameMaker and Microsoft Office

Additional Role Details

This hybrid role requires you to work at the Helsinki office three days a week. You will be responsible for coordinating multiple documentation projects and ensuring content meets global standards. Flexibility, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach are essential.
