Game Production Solutions (GPS) & Skybuild

Within the Game Development Experience (GDX) group, Game Production Solutions empowers game creators by building tools, services and data-driven insights. The Skybuild ecosystem is a world-class platform that supports builds and preflights for a number of EA Games.

The Role: Software Engineer III

This role leads efforts in developing key features for Skybuild, collaborates with product teams, mentors fellow engineers and translates business needs into actionable engineering requirements.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement key features for Skybuild
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define requirements
  • Mentor engineers to support technical growth
  • Translate product needs into clear engineering tasks
  • Ensure solutions meet reliability, performance, and usability standards

Technical Skills

Languages: Go, C#, Powershell, Bash (or similar). Version Control & CI/CD: Git, GitHub/GitLab and CI/CD workflows. Build pipelines: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, TeamCity or equivalent.

Qualifications

7+ years as a Software Developer, experience with large-scale builds or DevOps platforms, and proficiency in public cloud (AWS, GCP or Azure) are required. Strong risk management, communication skills and a Bachelor's in Computer Science or related experience are essential.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive pay ranging from approximately 119600 to 167300 CAD in British Columbia, with extensive benefits including vacation, sick time, parental leave, and health coverage.

Location

This role is available in Vancouver or Montreal. Hybrid work arrangements apply, with some travel required.
