Role Overview

The Anti-Cheat Operations Analyst is a key member of EA Security's Secure Platform Engineering & Anti-Cheat Response (SPEAR) team. Reporting to the manager of the Gameplay Integrity Operations team, you will monitor anti-cheat operations, investigate suspected cheating activities, and help ensure fair play across EA's games.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor anti-cheat dashboards and operations.
  • Investigate and analyze suspected cheating activities.
  • Gather threat intelligence to support anti-cheat and UGX protection.
  • Perform triage and investigations of enforcement appeals.
  • Document procedures and communicate progress with the team.
  • Identify personal technical skill gaps and lead development in anti-cheat solutions.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years as a SOC Tier 1 Analyst using SIEM technologies.
  • Familiarity with gaming cheats such as aimbots, wall hacks, and modding.
  • Basic understanding of operating system fundamentals.
  • Strong verbal and written English skills.

Additional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or similar field or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, GSEC, OSCP, OSCE, or Security+.
  • Experience in tool automation and reverse engineering or anti-cheat development.
