About the Role

As a YouTube Channel Writer/Director - Veritasium 2, you will be a compelling factual storyteller with a strong track record in making engaging long-form documentaries for YouTube. You will write, revise, and edit scripts, while overseeing the production process including planning, directing, producing, and managing post-production elements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative video ideas with compelling hooks and strong storylines.
  • Write and edit accurate, engaging scripts after extensive research.
  • Oversee production: filming, directing on location, and managing edits and animations.
  • Manage a researcher and liaise with animators and editors.
  • Optimize all content for YouTube and social media platforms.
