About the Role

This role is for a factual storyteller with a proven track record in producing long-form documentaries for modern digital audiences. You will own the entire production process from scriptwriting to directing, ensuring high-quality, engaging content.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop innovative video ideas with compelling hooks and strong storylines.
• Write, revise, and edit accurate, engaging scripts through detailed research.
• Oversee all production elements including planning, filming, directing, and editing.
• Manage a team of researchers, animators, and editors to deliver quality content.
• Ensure content is optimized for YouTube and social media platforms.

Requirements

• Experience in producing high-performing factual videos on YouTube.
• Expert storytelling skills with ability to sustain viewer engagement for over 20 minutes.
• Proven experience in managing production teams and running detailed edits.
• Strong project management skills with attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
• A relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
