The Role of a Senior Solutions Architect
Are you eager to make a significant impact and play a pivotal role in Elastic's growth? As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will act as a technical authority and trusted advisor to our sales team, customers, partners, and the community. You will identify and resolve complex customer business challenges using the Elastic Stack, engage the regional Elastic community through various events, and empower sales through our partners. A successful Senior Solutions Architect at Elastic demonstrates a commitment to excellence, proactively enhancing their skills and contributing to team improvement through continuous learning and challenging the status quo. This role specifically focuses on engagement with Elastic's largest enterprise clients.
What You Will Be Doing as a Senior Solutions Architect:
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for Elastic's largest clients within the Enterprise Sector.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer goals and objectives, effectively articulating how Elastic's offerings meet their needs.
- Cultivate and maintain value-based relationships across all levels within customer organizations.
- Proactively identify new use cases, with a strong emphasis on Cyber Security solutions.
- Actively participate in all planning and execution phases for your territory, from initial discovery through to technical win.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Elastic products and solutions to effectively demonstrate their value in sales meetings, meetups, and conferences.
- Advise the sales team on strategic positioning of Elastic products, solutions, and services.
- Onboard, educate, and enable partners, providing support throughout sales cycles.
- Create valuable collateral, contribute to programs, and collaborate with other Elasticians to address specific client requirements.
- Act as the voice of the customer and community, communicating needs, gaps, and enhancement requests to our engineering and leadership teams.
- Continuously deepen both your sales and technical skills through self-driven education and by utilizing Elastic's professional development opportunities.
What You Bring:
- A proven track record of success in a technical presales role, with sufficient experience in selling and implementing technology to build customer trust.
- Extensive experience working within the Enterprise sector, including the understanding needed to remain competitive and effectively navigate its unique challenges.
- A demonstrable ability to articulate and sell the benefits of modern platforms, software, and technologies.
- A genuine passion for curiosity and continuous learning, investing in your personal growth as much as your professional relationships.
- A history of successful customer relations where you identified key differentiators and designed architectures that achieved goals, solved problems, or provided competitive advantages.
- A strong ability to influence; you have successfully convinced teams of new ideas, technologies, or architectural patterns.
- The capability to inspire groups, both large and small.
- A willingness to travel approximately 30% within your assigned region, with occasional international travel.
- Desirable: A demonstrable ability to articulate and sell the benefits of SIEM and Endpoint solutions as integral parts of a wider technology stack.
- Desirable: Public Sector exposure and existing security clearance.
