What You Will Be Doing

• Drive technical vision and execution for the Elastic Agent Builder platform, focusing on agentic workflows, hybrid search, personalization, and scaling context-driven intelligence.
• Lead and manage a dedicated team of engineers, conducting frequent 1-on-1s, delivering quarterly reviews, leading “All Hands” discussions, and onboarding, coaching, and mentoring team members.
• Collaborate with other Tech, Team, and Product leads on the product roadmap, acting as a crucial and communicative part of an engaged and upbeat team.
• Navigate customer experiences with our extraordinary, empathetic support teams, working effectively with diverse individuals and roles.

What You Bring

• Experience managing a team of people at scale, demonstrating flexible people management, comfort with rapid growth, servant leadership, and performance management.
• Experience with remote management, understanding its unique aspects compared to in-office management and how to optimize for a distributed environment.
• Prior experience as an individual contributor in an engineering role, having shipped quality code into delightful applications and understanding how effective teams build systems.
• Bonus: Experience in building and shipping AI-based products that operate reliably at enterprise scale.
• Measured and articulate written and spoken communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and concise expression in various forms of correspondence and documentation.
