Role Overview
The Senior Engineering Manager - Workplace AI - Search leads the Elastic Agent Builder platform, empowering developers to build and deploy production-ready AI agents on Elasticsearch. The role focuses on agentic workflows, hybrid search, personalization, and scaling context-driven intelligence for the world’s largest organizations.
What You Will Be Doing
- Drive technical vision and execution for the platform.
- Lead and manage a dedicated engineering team.
- Collaborate across tech, team, and product leads on roadmaps.
- Nurture customer experiences with empathetic support teams.
- Engage in performance management and team coaching.
What You Bring
- Extensive experience managing engineering teams.
- Proven track record as an individual contributor in engineering.
- Skilled in remote management and flexible people management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Curiosity and adaptability in learning new tools and workflows.
- Bonus: Experience building and shipping AI-based products.
