About the Role
As the Senior Engineering Manager for Workplace AI - Search, you will drive the technical vision and execution of the Elastic Agent Builder platform. This platform empowers developers to rapidly build AI agents on top of Elasticsearch using sophisticated search relevance, vector database, and retrieval-augmented generation capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive technical vision for agentic workflows and hybrid search.
- Lead and manage a dedicated team, performing regular reviews and mentoring.
- Collaborate with tech, team, and product leads to align on the product roadmap.
- Coordinate with support teams to enhance customer experience.
- Champion remote management and scalable engineering practices.
What You Bring
You bring seasoned experience in people management, remote team leadership, and as an individual contributor who has shipped quality code. Bonus if you have built and shipped AI-based products at enterprise scale.
