We are seeking a Principal Product Marketing Manager to join our Product Marketing team, with a specific focus on Elasticsearch & AI. You will be a key technical marketing partner to our product leads, collaborating to define and execute the outbound strategy and go-to-market plans for the Elastic platform. This role is crucial for reaching developers and technical decision-makers. Success requires experience marketing to technical audiences, a strong understanding of Elastic's products (search, vector database, AI), their markets, and the ability to create compelling, authentic, and differentiated positioning and messaging.What You Will Be Doing
- Act as a technical product marketing lead for the Elastic platform, driving awareness and market penetration of key capabilities.
- Serve as an internal authority on the developer and SRE personas.
- Craft compelling, technical, and differentiated outbound product messaging and content (blogs, videos, tutorials, web pages, webinars).
- Enable the field through training and content (pitch decks, playbooks).
- Build and implement plans to foster relationships with our developer and technology partner ecosystem.
- Plan and implement product launches with operational marketing teams, creating necessary materials.
- Build strong partnerships with Product Management, Engineering, and Community teams for effective launches and user engagement.
- Attend and present at Elastic events, third-party trade shows, and other events to showcase products to technical audiences.
What You Bring
- 7-10 years of experience in product marketing within a technical environment.
- Proven track record of effectively marketing technical products to developers or technical audiences.
- Curiosity about technology to tell compelling stories about its value and impact.
- Ability to thrive in a cross-functional, highly distributed team environment.
- Experience driving Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies and crafting high-quality marketing assets.
- Strong ability to act as a spokesperson for product capabilities internally and externally.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
