As a People Partner, you will be responsible for overseeing all human resources activities and initiatives within your assigned Territory. You will act as a strategic partner to the leadership team of these client groups, providing comprehensive and integrated HR leadership. By adopting the overall HR strategy, you will drive the strategic HR agenda within your designated market. This role operates on a hybrid model, combining work-from-home flexibility with in-office presence.

Key Responsibilities of a People Partner
- Consults with branch management, offering HR guidance as appropriate.
- Assists with the onboarding of new management to ensure a clear understanding of HR practices, policies, programs, and protocols.
- Analyzes trends and metrics in collaboration with your HR Director and operations leadership to identify needs and develop solutions and programs that align with business and HR goals.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance, assisting with coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Works closely with management and employees to foster an engaged and productive work environment, with a strong focus on retention.
- Manages the utilization of company-wide engagement and communications programs, including the Elara Heroes program, online recognition platform, and Elara Care app.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation counseling to ensure understanding and adherence.
- Ensures compliance with state, CMS, and accreditation agency employment requirements. Maintains HR files with the assistance of an HR Coordinator and audits for regulatory compliance.
- Deploys Human Resources Support Resources to meet client group needs. Ensures excellent HR service delivery through coordinated efforts with the HR Service Center for frontline support, Learning and Development, Comp and Benefits, Worker’s Comp, Leave Management, UE support, and HR Operations/Payroll.
- Proactively assists in resolving employee and manager issues or concerns to ensure a positive employee experience at Elara Caring.
- Performs other duties as needed and/or assigned.

What is Required?
- Bachelor’s degree OR a High School Diploma with 2 to 5 years of experience as a Human Resources Business Partner.
- 2+ years of Human Resources experience is required.
- Extensive knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- Knowledge of Human Resources Management Systems, preferably Workday.
- Ability to strategically apply concepts and initiatives that align with business directives.
- Experience in Home Health service or Hospice environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of performance management; conflict resolution, with the ability to demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
