About the Opportunity

This position is ideal for an experienced and energetic BSEE Electrical Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced and exciting environment. You will work collaboratively with engineers, customers, internal teams, and Underwriter's Labs, enjoying autonomy and responsibility while honing your engineering skills.

Responsibilities

• Embedded Circuit Design: Analog, digital, microprocessor based and mixed-mode electronic circuit design experience.
• Schematic Capture Tools: Proficiency with schematic capture tools, preferably Mentor Graphics.
• Project Management: Manage multiple concurrent projects with high energy.
• Design Excellence: Design for UL, IEC, EMI standards, manufacturability, and thermal performance.
• Documentation & Testing: Create product specifications, BOMs, ECNs, prints, wiring diagrams, and conduct design verification testing including noise and thermal chamber tests.
• Customer Collaboration: Work closely with customer engineers to develop product specifications and requirements.
• Project Ownership: Own projects from start to finish.

Details

• Salary range: $85K to $130K based on experience.

Qualifications and Skills

• Ideally 5+ years’ experience in developing embedded electronic controls (less may be considered).
• Experience with schematic capture tools (Mentor Graphics preferred).
• BSEE Degree is required.
