Electrical Powertrain Quality Analysis Engineer

The Role

Analyze quality feedback related to electric powertrains and drive software requirement modifications to improve the performance, reliability, and safety of electrified systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze field quality feedback on electric powertrain systems.
• Identify, diagnose, and detail technical defects (debugging).
• Drive software requirement modifications in coordination with project teams.
• Ensure consideration of reliability, safety, and environmental constraints.
• Collaborate with local and international teams (multi-site).
• Participate in technical discussions and present analyses to technical and executive audiences.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems and processes.
• Work in interface with systems, software, and validation teams.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of automotive requirements: environment, reliability, safety.
• Solid foundation in control theory and embedded programming.
• Skills in debugging and defect analysis.
• Knowledge of embedded communication networks (CAN / LIN).
• Notions in functional safety and cybersecurity.
• Understanding of sensors and actuators in an electrified powertrain chain.

What We're Looking For

• Engineering degree (or equivalent).
• 3 to 5 years of experience in automotive engineering, ideally with electrified powertrains.
• Experience in managing or modifying software requirements.
• Good communicator, capable of interacting with technical and non-technical teams.
• Analytical mindset, rigor, and ability to solve complex problems.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
• Autonomy, organizational skills, and multitasking ability.
• Comfortable with remote work.
