Role Overview

As the Senior Manager, Software Engineering, you will lead engineering teams across Sales App Engineering and Financial Systems & Carrier Integration. You will drive critical revenue generating platforms at eHealth and ensure the integration of emerging technologies into our products.

How You Will Make An Impact

You will leverage emerging AI technologies, build and optimize data infrastructure, provide technical direction, maintain business-driven project prioritization, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement while upholding eHealth’s values.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage AI technologies to enhance system performance and decision-making.
  • Build and optimize scalable data infrastructure.
  • Provide technical direction and hands-on management.
  • Collaborate with Product, UX, Infrastructure, and Business teams.
  • Ensure compliance with application security standards such as HIPAA.
  • Promote engineering best practices and process improvements.
  • Support production issues and lead Root Cause Analysis efforts.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

You must have a strong background in software design, development, and leadership with 5+ years managing engineering teams and 8+ years in the field. Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, full stack development, and cloud infrastructure is essential. Experience with frontend technologies, GraphQL and CRM systems is a plus.
