Role Overview: Principal Engineer-Mechanical

This role is based in Bengaluru, India and involves leading large-scale MEP projects, mentoring senior engineers, and driving innovation in mechanical engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage complex MEP project delivery ensuring quality outcomes.
  • Lead and mentor a team of senior engineers to foster professional growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for innovative mechanical solutions.
  • Conduct thorough quality assurance and quality control (QAQC) reviews.
  • Manage project profitability and optimize resource allocation.
  • Provide technical expertise on mechanical engineering aspects of projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and regulations.
  • Contribute to strategic planning for the engineering department.
  • Implement and improve processes for efficient project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 12 years in mechanical engineering, focusing on MEP.
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale MEP projects.
  • Strong expertise in project management and resource allocation.
  • Excellent leadership, mentoring, and QAQC skills.
  • Proficient in CAD software and other engineering tools.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Advanced problem-solving, analytical skills and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
