Job Overview
We are seeking a Business Applications Manager to join our PMO & Applications team. This role can be based in Paris or Brussels. You will have end-to-end ownership of a diverse portfolio of approximately 70 SaaS applications across 12 business domains. Your responsibilities will be hands-on, acting as the primary owner for 4-5 critical applications, managing their entire lifecycle, configuration, governance, vendors, and roadmap. You will also serve as a co-owner or trusted advisor for the remaining applications in the portfolio.
This is a strategic yet operationally focused position. You will collaborate closely with business and IT stakeholders to select appropriate tools, guide sourcing and consolidation strategies, and ensure applications are well-governed, cost-effective, and aligned with future business objectives. Your duties will include managing licenses, rationalizing the application landscape, and performing direct platform administration to shape a cohesive and sustainable application ecosystem.

What You'll Be Doing
- Own and maintain the complete application inventory, detailing dependencies, integrations, and lifecycle status.
- Manage license budgets and monitor usage through KPIs, dashboards, and governance protocols.
- Facilitate application governance committees involving business units throughout the organization.
- Assist business teams in evaluating new tools, conducting gap analyses, Proofs of Concept (POCs), and Return on Investment (ROI) assessments.
- Lead implementation and migration projects, coordinating with procurement, legal, and security departments.
- Administer key platforms directly or through partners, including Jira, Confluence, Odoo, Intercom, and Pendo.
- Identify and eliminate redundancies within the application portfolio, driving rationalization and sunset initiatives.
- Ensure the application landscape remains coherent and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
Who You Are
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Applications Management, IT Governance, or a comparable role.
- Solid understanding of application lifecycle management, governance frameworks, and vendor management.
- Experience as an IT Asset Manager or ITAM analyst within a mid-size SaaS or tech company, seeking broader responsibilities.
- Background as a SaaS Ops or RevOps Manager with exposure to governance practices.
- Proficiency as an Atlassian specialist (Jira/Confluence admin) who has progressed to tooling ownership.
- Experience as a Business Analyst or Project Manager who has informally managed tech stacks and wishes to formalize this role.
- Proven experience managing implementation or migration projects.
- Excellent command of English; French language skills are a plus.
