Overview
Are you a dynamic educator, passionate about equipping young people with critical life skills? eDynamic Learning is seeking a Freelance FACS SME Writer who has taught Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) to middle and/or high school students. This role is aimed at creating engaging, standards-based curriculum content for 13–17-year-olds.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of FACS topics including relationships, communication, child development, interior personal living spaces, sewing, health, nutrition, food preparation, and career exploration. Applicants must have classroom teaching experience, preferably at the middle or high school level in Oklahoma.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Utilize Microsoft Word and Dropbox for content creation
- Collaborate regularly with team members
- Adapt and incorporate constructive feedback
- Plan curriculum that engages diverse learners
Additional Information
eDynamic Learning is the largest publisher of elective and CTE educational resources for grades 6-12 in North America. Work is expected to begin immediately with possible paid auditions to assess content writing skills.
