eDynamic Learning, the largest publisher of educational resources for high school elective courseware in North America, is seeking a dynamic American Sign Language educator. In this freelance contract role starting in November, you will author resources that lay a solid foundation in ASL for high school students.
Responsibilities
- Develop course resources and video scripts for ASL.
- Incorporate state curriculum and ACTFL standards.
- Create role-play activities and interactive content.
- Work remotely with tools like MS Word, Dropbox, Smartsheet, and Slack.
- Participate in a paid audition to showcase writing skills.
Qualifications and Skills
- Recent experience teaching ASL at high school or college level.
- Strong command of both ASL and written English.
- Understanding of Deaf culture and effective language dissemination.
- Vision for creating engaging sign language videos.
