About the role
AI Support Agent Design/ Developer
Education Dynamics, Inc. is seeking a skilled, self-directed AI Product Developer & Integration Specialist on a freelance/contractor basis to develop a support agent for non-technical users of our ERP system. This agent will initially assist with end-user testing and training, with the long-term goal of becoming a production-grade assistant capable of answering questions about accounting, human resources, and finance services within our system's interface and functionality.

What you'll do
- Design and build custom AI chatbots, voice agents, and autonomous AI agents for client-facing and internal applications.
- Integrate LLMs (GPT, Claude, Gemini, LLaMA, etc.) into existing platforms, codebases, CRMs, and business workflows.
- Collaborate with our dev team to ensure AI components meet code quality, security, and scalability standards.
- Prompt engineer, evaluate, and fine-tune model outputs for specific client use cases.
- Deliver clean documentation and handoff materials so our team can maintain and extend your work.
Required qualifications
- Proven track record building and deploying AI bots and integrations in real production environments.
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.) and advanced prompt engineering.
- Experience integrating AI into existing software products and third-party platforms via RESTful APIs.
- Comfort working in a software development environment — version control (Git), code review, and structured handoffs are standard.
- Ability to work independently, manage your own timeline, and communicate progress clearly with technical teammates.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience contributing AI features to SaaS products or client software builds.
- Familiarity with cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for AI services and APIs.
- Background in NLP, machine learning, or data science.
- Experience with voice AI (Vapi, ElevenLabs, Deepgram) or computer vision workflows.
