Job Description

About the Project Delivery Manager Role at EDF

Join us in a role where you can make a real impact. At EDF, we know that Success is Personal and as a Project Delivery Manager you’ll help shape change that improves experiences for our customers and colleagues.

The Opportunity

As a Project Delivery Manager you’ll play a central role in guiding improvements that support our transition towards An Electric Britain. You’ll help teams turn ideas into outcomes, coordinating the steps needed to deliver change that makes life easier for the people we serve.

You’ll join us on competitive salary ranging from £57,600 depending on experience and this hybrid role gives you the flexibility to work from home with occasional visits to our #EDF offices in either #Doxford, #Hove or #Exeter.

You’ll work with colleagues across our business to plan delivery, remove barriers and help ensure initiatives land smoothly. You’ll gain hands‑on experience across varied projects and develop your skills through training, mentoring, and collaborative learning.

Who You Are

We’re looking for someone who’s organised, proactive, and ready to bring structure and clarity to change. To be shortlisted, you need to offer…

  • Strong industry knowledge gained through customer, operational, or regulatory experience
  • Evidence of delivering change or leading initiatives in a Utilities or Energy environment
  • The ability to plan effectively and manage competing priorities
  • Confident stakeholder engagement and communication skills across all levels
  • Awareness of delivery approaches, with the flexibility to adapt methods as needed
  • A focus on outcomes and embedding change, not just delivering it
  • Curiosity and commitment to continuous learning and improvement

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Shaping delivery plans and breaking objectives into clear, actionable steps
  • Coordinating activities, managing interdependencies, and resolving risks and issues
  • Engaging stakeholders and keeping progress visible and understood
  • Supporting operational teams to prepare for and adopt change
  • Sharing lessons learned to help improve delivery practices across the team

Pay, Benefits And Culture

Alongside a salary ranging from £57,600 (DOE), the potential for an annual bonus, and a market‑leading pension scheme, your package will include customisable benefits such as electric vehicle leasing, discounted gym membership, life assurance, tech vouchers, experience days, and more.

At EDF, we believe there are multiple definitions of what it means to succeed. That’s why we offer you the freedom to develop a career that’s unique to you. Here, Success is Personal – it’s your journey, powered by us.

Everyone is welcome at EDF; we’re committed to building a workforce that reflects gender balance, social mobility, and inclusion of minority ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQ+ communities, and those with disabilities. As a Disability Confident employer, we will support applicants requiring adjustments.
