Role Overview: Field CTO - EMEA
As a pivotal leader within EDB’s Office of the CTO, the Field CTO drives digital business transformation by leveraging EDB data technology. This role requires deep expertise in databases, integration tools, migration capabilities, analytics, and AI applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Guide customers and internal teams in advanced digital transformation using analytics and AI.
- Innovation and Evangelism: Publish thought leadership content, deliver talks at conferences, and actively engage in open source communities.
- Technical and Business Acumen: Align tech strategies with business goals and advise on modernizations, migrations, and cloud replatforming.
- Ecosystem Awareness: Expertise in Kubernetes, containers, VMs, Ansible, and hybrid cloud deployments.
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years in data-intensive solution design and deployment.
- At least 5 years in a consultative or professional services role with AI and analytics experience.
- Proven thought leadership through blogging and public speaking.
- Experience with open source communities and enterprise-grade solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills and willingness to travel 25% internationally.
