Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join our Production Solutions team. Ideal candidates must have previous experience in the design and engineering of automotive manufacturing conveyor systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support MPS with BEC-based throughput simulations.
  • Facilitate new vehicle programs using workbook-based Level 3 throughput simulation models.
  • Conduct custom studies for new vehicle programs and manufacturing plants.
  • Troubleshoot and debug throughput simulation models.
  • Travel to plant sites, as necessary.

Requirements

  • Proficient in translating plant layouts into simulation models using AutoDesk Design Review and AutoCAD.
  • Skilled in throughput simulation software, Plant Simulation is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of material flow operations within a plant.
  • In-depth understanding of GA processes.
  • Ability to work with ambiguous data and strong analytical skills.
