Position Overview
This Mechanical Engineering Internship is a part-time role (2-3 days per week) that offers a blend of hands-on projects, lab experiences, computer work, and administrative tasks. Interns work closely with experienced engineers on design, documentation, reporting, and using various engineering software.
Key Responsibilities
- Support specific programs through documentation and reporting
- Partner with the engineering team to deliver world class design, cost, and quality products
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to solve problems
- Gain experience using various engineering software programs
- Participate in external client and internal meetings
- Handle other general engineering tasks as needed
Requirements
- Current enrollment in a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented
- Strong desire to learn all aspects of engineering consulting
