Position Overview

This Mechanical Engineering Internship is a part-time role (2-3 days per week) that offers a blend of hands-on projects, lab experiences, computer work, and administrative tasks. Interns work closely with experienced engineers on design, documentation, reporting, and using various engineering software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support specific programs through documentation and reporting
  • Partner with the engineering team to deliver world class design, cost, and quality products
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to solve problems
  • Gain experience using various engineering software programs
  • Participate in external client and internal meetings
  • Handle other general engineering tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented
  • Strong desire to learn all aspects of engineering consulting
